You'd push the button, the diesel engine would fire up, and you'd start digging away.

I had a series of nightmares where people, including friends of mine, would be handing my running chainsaws. Just "hold this will you", out of nowhere, my knuckles perilously close to the chain.
It got bad. Whatever way I held the thing, the engine would creep faster, and the chain would start engaging, and the more I tried to move limbs out of the way, the more I managed to fire up the motor. A few times I woke up and immediately checked my hands for damage.
It’s a father and his two sons with three chainsaws of varying sizes. Apparently the grandfather passed away a couple of months ago and I’m assuming it was chainsaw-related.
