@Deadmanposting was it you was developing the theory around people who like spicy foods liking spicy drugs when they were younger? I can't remember if I was talking about it here or not but it made me start to think that ultra runners are all ex- 24 hour party people.

My unpopular opinion was that positive people are more often than not, those who have been through some adversity that changed their outlook
