I want a telecaster .. that mex I played in Goodwins ages ago was absolutely deadly.

I want a USA though obviously. Removes all doubt

I quite like them. That orange one would accompany my 6120 very nicely

Be great for recording

covid partscaster project.. almost matches @Anthony looks spec?
mahogany body, maple neck as thick as a laois builder's. GFS noiseless pickups, 4 way switch with series (which is an awesome sounding mod)
pretty good sounding and playing guitar. PLAYS LIKE BUTTER MAN.
Building guitars is addictive and an absolute internet rabbit hole however - I thought pedals and amps were bad

That's great, I love a tele with a strat headstock. Not mad about binding on guitars but if it plays like butter then I'll let it go.

seriously - I'm currently building another based on this kit (- hardware, pups etc). Tele was a complete parts build so more difficult in many respects. The wood parts alone are worth the money in the HB kit (hardwood body (regnas), and neck is beautiful).

I built the Strat version of this. It's not great.

i'm dumping almost everything except the body and neck - which seem decent (neck in particular). Think the strat and tele kits are basswood, whereas the LP and SG style kits are hardwood. I'll let you know how I get on

It’ll look half decent even if it sound gak. Bridge and pickups in the post, so it might be a while before it’s finished...
