I've been to loads of gigs where the audience goes nuts when the people come out. Set the atmosphere and is great. Even happened at Devo.

Even in the soundcheck Daniel and his brother were urging us to play louder, heavier and faster.

The only way he could have made the night any deadlier was if he played those songs. But it was deadly enough for me.

We soundchecked versions of The Beatles and Casper with him (with Daniel improvv'ing a keyboard solo on Casper), but then he just skipped past those lyric pages (without telling us!) during the set.

he was fantastic, and the band was great. crowd was quite patronising. i only got it together to go at the last minute (so, here but for the grace of peer pressure post i) and sat on my own and had a lot of fun.

Yeah I don't understand how the crowd were being patronising (though i wasn't there) by applauding earnestly. Surely restraint due to a fear that over-exuberance would be patronising would be equally as patronising if not more so??Wait I'm confusing myself.
