Show us yer pedalboard (1 Viewer)

Suposedly the pedal train pedalboards are great. You could get someone else to make ya one. Maybe one of them custom flight case dues, else a guitar case is really handy and loads of room for loads of pedals.

I'm not in the Mars Volta and that's not Omar's pedal board, click the link under it for more info..

Amdek Delay machine. rare as hell. you used to buy a kit and make yourself at home. gets loads of amazing reviews and I love it. I've never seen another one. Is really really dynamically responsive. If you play harder it does weird distortiony delay stuff? sorry for crap wording. Gets 10/10 on Harmony Central

Also can flick the switch on the left with my foot for 3 way super distortion on the input. A live sound engineers nightmare ; love it

and a modified copicat by an alcaholic mad professer that gives it infinite sound on sound and a variable. Its called the Fripp mod. Have no pics.....
Its got 2 extra knobs.....

and a Boss digital delay ...yawn

My guitar pedals as they are now, still need to drill an enclosure. R-L Korg Pitch Black, Violet Ram's Head Muff/Bluebeard clone, modded TS-808 clone.

That a DAM Meathead? Gonna try build a clone of one of them soon. Seem pretty simple and I love the idea of one-knob pedals.

What's the Earthquaker OD like? I have a 3 knob early version of the Dirt Transmitter. Seriously nice pedal!

Also, what's the big yellow one?

You should just buy a Meathead, they're worth every penny, amazing pedal.
The EQD OD is really nice, a little more versatile than the meathead, what with there being more than one knob! Since I play pretty thick (in most senses of the word) sludgey stuff I find using two fuzz's great for layering on the heft and hiding my mistakes. The yellow pedal is a handmade delay/echo thing I found on ebay last year, I love it, it's modeled to sound analogue or something to that effect, whatever it is it sounds great anyway.

That delay is a GGG kit based on the Ibanez AD80. How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? Gonna get the kit soon myself, I'm in need of a good delay.

Aw I'll probably buy one too, just wanna have a shot a building a decent sounding fuzz that's simple and cheap. It looks like a simple build, but I ain't gonna go and try track down all the crazy rare transistors these guys use so it'll sound similar enough but won't have the same sound, ya know.

That delay sounds interesting! Might have to pick up the ggg kit soon. Have Tube Screamer and Shin Ei Companion Fuzz kits in the mail .|..|

Aye, I know what you mean, if I had the ability or know how to build pedals I'd probably never stop!

It's definately hard work but it CAN be done. Pick up a few simple kits from musikding.de, they're a good place to start. Just practice your soldering, familiarise yourself with the components and the schematics and you'll be flying.

Things do get a bit harder when you start building stuff on perfboard and stuff but kits are pretty do-able without too much knowledge.

If an idiot like me can do it..... :)

What are you using to connect the pedals? I've been making a small board and I want to tidy it up and get the pedals closer. I want it this size so it will fit into my guitar stuff tool box.

Also having the power inputs on the MXR pedals at the side make it a real hassle too. Are there any daisy chains with longer gaps between connectors or ones with right angled connectors?
