It just seems to various fuck ups in lots of places

Thousands miss their flights after queuing for hours at airports

kinda like every place was cutting corners in some way and it's all compounding.

These staff shortages everywhere reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where everyone decided that they didn't have to bother caring about their jobs or giving a basic fuck (and maybe a ferris wheel collapsed or something?)
Anyway, the pandemic and PUP and everyone having their eyes opened that money is just a fucking idea and that time and love and meaning are more valuable commodities

I have been in Supermacs in Nenagh about 150 times to go to the loo but have never eaten any Supermacs food ever. none of it is vegan anyway - I emailed them.

mcdonalds stopped using beef tallow years ago to cook their chips in. i suspect it's sunflower oil or similar everywhere now.
