I took part in some of those marches, but loads of them I didn't cos I didn't think those Repeal-The-8th people had a fucking chance of making Ireland vote abortion back in
BUt march they did and they made it happen
It was bizarre to see Harris get the plaudits, but everyone was just so damn happy it happened

Coveney's been borderline out since Leo defeated him, and then that kurfuffle with Zappone kicked whatever fight was left in him out onto the ground

He knows the score within the party. They have no further use for him. He's not gonna become some Alan Shatter type figure, hanging around forever. He'll be off to Europe, if he can get it.

Even though those are big deals, there's no medals for it

People care about housing. And FG can't campaign on it.
The party itself wants a bruiser as it prepares to go up against the Shinners, and they have that in Harris.
The ordinary decent capable honourable type that Coveney represents doesn't have strong currecny right now, and might never again.
Again, something in Europe or on some boards or whatever. That's where his skills will be drawn to.
