I didn’t realise until after that Neil Marshall directed that episode. The only film I’ve seen of his is The Descent which I thought was deadly. Are his other worth checking out?

luckily enough, the only two giants they brought along only had the one arrow between them

I enjoyed it. I like it when it switches to full-on epic battle mode and sticks with the same situation for an entire episode. I know it didn't advance the story very much but sure I lost track of that about two seasons back.

Yeah, I enjoyed that. Liked the sticking to one thing. Of course we all want to know whats happening in Kings Landing, but would have been surprised if it had been dealt with in the next show.
