One never seeks office. However if one's friends were to convince one that if one were to be elected then one could serve one's country effectively then one would, of course, be obligated to run.

Labour would do well to stay out of Govt. If they go in with FF they'll be hammered at the next election. If they stay out, there may be another election within 2 or 3 years by which time Bertie's finances will have been raked over the the tribunal; he may have begun winding down and BCowen will be the proposed FF Taoiseach; and the country may have seen how 'safe' the FF hands on the economy are.

Unfortunately not, TV3's online content is a bit 1997. It was repeated at 6 this morning so I don't know if it'll be on again. I used to think she was a half-decent interviewer, but I felt sick watching the way she carried on yesterday. RBB looked incredibly uncomfortable talking about it as well, she even asked him if he always knew he was adopted, and how he found his natural mother. All this on a 'current affairs' programme.
