Susan Boyle - Britain's Got Talent (1 Viewer)

Re: Susan Boyle

To be honest, I wouldn't believe a word out of Max Clifford's mouth. Sounds like Simon's trying to get in on the ground floor.

I wonder what the latest is with Jade? They should get a medium on the job. Given a choice, I'd be more inclined to trust Cowell than Clifford alright. Not that either of them could be considered decent folk.

Much as it's a great clip and great TV, she's not actually that good a singer. Yes, a surprisingly good voice for someone who the edit made seem a bit mental, but not that good a voice - not in the way that previous "surprisingly good TV talent show singer" clips have delivered. I think people want her to be a good singer more than she actually is. God I'm an aul cynic amn't I.

or as one youtuber put it

"She IS the Light! An angel among us to teach us an illuminating and positive non-judgmental lesson. Love IS unconditional..."

i'd say she has a limited style...the cry me a river was worser for her seemingly trademark colourless, over-imposing vibrato(wtf am i talkin about??)

undeniably entertaining and music might be her life, but her livelihood?

Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his
Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately
his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards.
His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it
consistently interesting.
Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order
......

I love her . But no doubt a few months down the line she will have lost loads of weight have a new haircut loads of makeup and a stylist. Still , I love that song and her.

A whole pile of Susan Boyle related tat on ebay

She's adorable. I don't get why everyone was so "against" her when she walked out. She just looked like someone's ma. What the fuck is wrong with people?

Beautiful voice on her and it really was a total hollywood moment, but the idea that all she did was walk out in front of a crowd to sing a song and tell of her lifelong dream of having a singing career only to be laughed at and dismissed as some grotesque lunatic.. it's just disgusting. If I was involved in that show I'd probably resign and publicly commit suicide for being part of something so abhorrent.

Well said, sir!
