on that topic, it was *widely* known in dublin city council that owen keegan was a keen white water rafter, long before that part of the story broke in relation to the white water rafting centre. i was surprised it took so long for the news media to cop it.

Since last November through to this latest increase their prices will have gone up 32%

Doesn't help that Ireland is a cheap country.

That is to say, Ireland is expensive, but the people buying stuff from us are cheap. We get about 3 grand from a customer for a basic *thing* that we sell, in the UK or Germany the equivalent product goes for about 6 grand. We could absorb the hikes better if we were getting that sort of money.
