What gig did you go to last night? (12 Viewers)

Weezer last night in Trinners. Good fun gig, they're coming off this Blue album 30th Anniversary tour so the set was a bit Blue heavy for my liking. Would have preferred some newer stuff. They're never the most enthralling band to watch but they have the songs. Couple of nice deep kuts in there.

Disappointing to have zero production, I've seen photos from this tour with visuals etc but in Trinity it was bare bones. I guess MCD wouldn't spring for a video screen. Also disappointing to see under 18s being turned away at the gate.

Was a really good gig. Lovely to see yourself there.

I wished it was louder. I always find that a problem with gigs in Trinity. The sound levels are always too low.

Great setlist though

Listened to the teen mortgage album today. They cover all the punk offshoots. Hardcore, garage, pop, metal

I was at the Weezer gig the other night, it was a good gig. I had originally bought the tickets for my 12yo son (his first gig) then they announced it as a Strictly 18+ gig. He wanted to chance his arm and try and get in, but was turned away at the gate. He was a little upset, and went home with his mum.

Ended going in on my own, enjoyed it but was strange on my own. A little short in length only 85mins. But banged out a lot of songs.

That sucks.

I was at my daughter's 21st in Anseo on Tuesday night, which she organised, and two bands played. First was a jazz band that don't even have a name yet! but were really good, especially the piano player who's only 19 and fantastic. Like, Herbie Hancock fantastic. Second band was called Sell Everything and they were really good as well, very vibey. Gotta say, the crowd and all were a great bunch of kids, and sound too.

Civic singer - come nearer the stage, we're Australian, we don't bite.
Punter at the back - except when yiz play rugby ya cunts.
Class banter and some savage punk rock in the Workmans

Just back from a Pride Navan fundraiser gig. I missed the first band, who I wanted to see. Saw an acoustic duo and half or a rock band from Dundalk. Too loud.
too loud only ever matters if the band is shite
