Quiet at my polling station this morning. I went earlier than usual, before 9am, and only have one other vote at this station to compare with. 500+ on the list there and I was 27th or 28th.

Same here. It was so deserted that I thought I might be at the wrong place for a moment.

in the past i've been asked three or four times (i've only been able to vote in votes since 2002 so it seems high) for id when voting so i'll always bring it

Make that 4 or 5 times as i was asked for it again today.

Polling station was very quiet when I voted. The only others voting were 2 people in front of me (who were not asked for Id)

I voted at 8.30 this morning in Castleknock. It was fairly busy at that time. Never seen that many people in the polling station at 1 time before.

I've never been asked for ID. Won't be risking it today, that's for sure. Driver's licence will be to hand.

watching the news about the high turnout in places like sligo, leitrim and donegal do not bode well
