Some hit, but Aldo on the commentary sounds tired and emotional.

Corm will love this:
And then he met Sofía, who would go on to become his girlfriend and later wife. She changed him forever. Sofía was 12 and Luis was 15 when they met. "It was a big change in every sense," he says. "I was very lazy about studying and she helped me to realise that it wasn't because I were a dunce that things weren't going well but because I wasn't interested."

So, he's a racist, cannibal PEADO?

hon the pool. very important to knock up the 3 points after everyone but arsenal losing points yesterday. feared the worst when they got one back. sunderland were pretty quiet after their goal surprisingly. thought pool weren't great in the first half either. nonetheless, 3 points. last few seasons this would have been a likely fuck up.

great to see suarez and sturridge work so well together. second and third goals were sweet.
sahko seems to have settled well too. thought he had a decent game today. 2nd in the league going in to international break would be a fantastic position

we have Palace at home on Saturday. That's a must-win. Arsenal have to go to West Brom, who have been ropey but seem to be coming good and will not give them an easy game.

The 3 at the back formation seemed forced by having no right-back cover, but it's really settled Skrtel, Sahko, and Mingolet down nicely. All three have an extra passing option on the ball and all three are cycling the ball around nice and calmly as a result. Toure is a boss. The wingbacks in a line of 4 gives a bit of extra cover to Gerrard and Lucas which has been needed. Up front it's cost us a bit of creativity in midfield but with SAS (sorry) we can live with that.

Kelly and Wisdom must be feeling like chumps. No right means he changes tactics completely?
Still, no complaints. 2nd eh?
Mad.

top of the league, nice one.

once again, thought henderson was best player.

however, liverpool got pretty wasteful upfront and sloppy in defence. CP should have made it 2-1 before the pen. only a minor complaint. would have been nice to keep a clean sheet and bang in another 2 or 3. CP fans singing 'this is a library' wasn't too far off the mark. pool crowd seemed completely sedated

but still, top of the league!

it's good to keep winning while feeling that the team isn't playing to full capacity. newcastle away next week - should be looking for a win or a draw (depending on which newcastle turn up). WBA at home will be a bit like the Southampton game... if we're still near the top by then, the arsenal match is going to be interesting.

We've a winnable run of games up to that one. Don't think many people would have pegged that fixture as being potentially important in the title race at the start of the season.
"We"?? Careful now, you're on our manor here. It's we who we.

Plus from yesterday: Coming from behind, twice.
Minus from yesterday: FOR FUCKS SAKE.

If Suarez's shot had gone in and the backpass rule wasn't introduced and Hillsborough never happened and SOuey didn't demolish the team and Fergie got the sack in 1990, we could have won that game.
