Argh, I like Benni, he's a really useful squad player. Can we not get rid of Penance or Porno first?
good quick feet, good passer around the box, gets some goals, but useless on the wings and too small and puny for the middle. he could play the robbie keane role, if we didn't have robbie keane. i'd rather keep him though. he done ok last season.

Looks like we're going to be without Gerrard for the Champions League qualifier, but we should be okay without him as Alonso seems in fine form. Just hope he's still around by next week.

If he is on the way out I doubt they'll play him and then have him cup tied, would knock a bit off the transfer price.

are they on regular setanta (as opposed to the lfc channel or whatever its called) tomorrow night v lazio or something?
damn holidays has me out of the loop.
whos this robbie keane guy that signed? has he looked anyway decent?

I think the Nazio game is on Sky.

Sixteen goal a season man who plays off main striker. He didn't score against Man Yoo last term therefore he's rubbish.

I don't even need to get into specifics with you on this one cos you are way out on your own Hector, but for the record do you think you're the only Liverpool-Ireland fan over 30 on Thumped?
Jesus wept.

what's your point?
Sorry for the late reply. I suppose my point was that we know what it's like to wait 18 years for a title, we know what Robbie Keane's like etc. etc. The point was that you're not the only one with the same insight and with the same expectations. I'm not expecting blind optimism as some smartarse put it, I'd just expect you not to have a hernia over the whole business.

i'm not having a hernia, it's just after being linked with aguero, silva, villa et all, to end up with a 28 year old robbie keane, who, as you know, we know as a player, doesn't set my pulse racing. i still think we're in a much better position than last year and potentially cold make inroads into the top two, especially if chelsea suffer from transition pains, and if united fail to perform early doors without rooney/ cron, but when it comes down to it, the utterly crucial games will be against the top opposition. are we now in a position to beat them? are we?

i fucking hope so.

fair play. I agree with you on all that.

Confused,
Hokey

agree... but can we do it? can we beat united and chelsea and arse at home? is robbie the man to do it.

for the record, i wasn't negative. i still said we had a good shot, but i just don't rate robbie keane as our saviour.

west ham, vince.

It would be great just to be still in with a realistic shout by Easter. Or even Christmas. I might even take Halloween.
there you go, you just blew it. we'll be out of the race by full time on sunday.
