I went to go see Basic Instinct in the Odeon at the Point. Get the bus plus 25 minute walk... the projector was goosed.
On the plus side, he gave me three open guest passes, and I see they are showing Showgirls at some point next week.
Not sure I'll ever take a trip to the Odeon again if I miss that Showgirls screening.
Unless they just start showing Paul Verhoeven films every week. That'd be great.

You would think that would be common knowledge at this stage.never ship a record in the sleeve
I'd say 99% of the records I've ever bought were shipped shrink-wrapped in their sleevesnever ship a record in the sleeve

NoneHow many had split seams?

I thought it was fairly common unless you’re @therealjohnny and apparently have super seams. How common exactly?
None
Common enough that if you run a record label and do mail-order that you should know how to pack a record so as not to let it get damaged. How common exactly?
If the Shrinkwrap is tight it can sometimes prevent the record moving in the sleeve, but not always.Cool I think the shrink wrap might help stop the record moving inside the sleeve. I buy loads that aren't shrink wrapped and they mostly come with the record out of the outer sleeve but in the inner. Good few when they've been in them they're had a split seam.

I just don't put those ones back in.My pet peeve is when the paper inner sleeve is so tight it's practically impossible to get the record out. Packed by machine I'd guess.
