I used to love my job (and the tasks that go with it) and find it interesting and fulfilling but the company that took us over has made it almost impossible to complete any task, making it completely soul destroying. Something we would have done in days with a great result now takes years with crap results

pretty much exactly sums up what its like to work for a multinational

you get hardened to it though, believe me. I've learned (and have become quite good at it) to leave all my stresses at the door when I leave every day. I could have the shittest day ever, but absolutely refuse to let it spill over into my non-work life.

its all about perspective. You work for 'the man' but in truth 'the man' doesn't even know you exist.

And your boss doesn't give a bollox about whether hes making your life hell or not, if thats what it takes to make him look good. If your boss doesn't give a bollox, why should you? And absolutely don't let the cunt have the satisfaction of actually being bothered by anything they do.

I'm getting a lot of shit off my boss these days. Its threatening to phase me but so far I've keep fairly cool about it.

I'm just a little insignificant number in a massive corporation. And I act like it as much as I can.
