Gene Poole that place is amazing! It was recommended to us by a good friend from Bordeaux, she goes there with her family (2 boys) every year. HMB would love it, safe and mostly quiet with lots to do and the restaurant on the campsite is great for fish... you need to book a table but they have a terrace and you can sit and watch the sun set over the sea. There is a shop on the campsite (they sell their own wine cuvee for €2.50 a bottle) and there are big commercial parks only a few km away if you need more than the basics. All the pitches are quite big, some have amazing views, the facilities there are excellent (and clean) and we loved it. Arcachon is a really cute town and there is a bus you can get from just outside the campsite into town (if you don't want to be moving the camper).
