did a speed check there now

Downstream 1896 Kbps (237.0 KB/sec) 2047 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 2679 Kbps (334.9 KB/sec) 2893 Kbps (inc. overheads)

Just got up and running on Imagine - deadly :)
How do you do that speed check???

Also: anyone got good links/advice for securing our connection???
We have a C&Wireless ADSL modem/router with built in Firewall etc - does stuff like MAC address spoofing work etc???
Looking for good advice in configuring Windows Firewall too.
Are there any apps that will do a port scan and recommend ports to block??

Oh, just noticed:
When 2 of us connect to the wireless network we seem to lose connection after a few minutes.
Any ideas?

that happens to us too, im not sure if its related to one of the others connecting or what. pressing the button on the back of the router fixes it. do you think connecting with a cable might be better for listening to internet radio and video stuff? mine's always cutting out and stopping even though the speeds are fine. pain in the arse.

yeah, just tried one at a time and we seem to get disconnected after about 5 minutes.
Probably`a basic setting somewhere...
