You assholes should just vote Labour. I mean, they care way more about equality, the arts and general fiscal responsibility than any other party - or any that's likely to get into government. Vote independent / Green / Sinn Féin #2 or 3 or whatever, but those bastards aren't going into government. If Fine Gael go in with a few independents, it's all over people. It's mass exodus as you were and it's going to be swapping one right wing self serving pack of pricks for another right wing self serving pack of pricks.. who probably hate de gays, foreignts and the poor even more.

Fucking christ.

fine gael getting into a majority with labour as the main opposition party will possibly be a better result for long term politics in ireland because it sets up a right wing vs. left wing in opposition scenario which would introduce an ideological basis for irish politics which has never been there before. this is compared to FG+Lab with gerry adams as a possible leader of the opposition which would be A Bad Thing in some ways, though a FG/Lab govt would in (a best case scenario) result in an FG policy of rationalising the HSE with some of the social policies of Lab, but i'm not naive enough to believe that'd be the output.

I know its only a wee survey, but its biased from the outset by not inclusing the socialist types and the indepentents. I think everyone on thumped would get dylan haskins if it were comprehensive.

I got an SF/LAB blend for the record.

I really havent a clue who to vote for. Maybe a bunch of random, squabbling independents is as good a choice as any
