my no. 4 in the locals got in but my no. 1 in the euro did also

first time my vote has ever helped someone get elected (ok my first time voting was Nice II)

was listening to one of those talk news things on the radio yesterday. they was talking about how faith had declined in ahern's brother because bertie had been fired. i was thinking it was a bit contrived that there should even be more then one family member allowed in politics at any time. in my locals there were either 2 or 3 candidates who 'inherited' their political career, and in the local sense it really c'ouldnt be said that any of them had earned the status beyond torch bearing.
