in fairness the civil defense actually do things,manys the time they've showed up at our football games with radiation monitoring units and water rescue vehicles in tow.god knows why they'd need such things at a football game in tallaght but still,they make the effort .|..|

According to my bus driver all buses are finishing at 8pm tonight. And as MilanPanic said they are pulling back services even now with most buses just keeping to main roads now.

Difficulties are being experienced with the freezing conditions and in conjunction with the Local Authorities every effort is being made to maintain services through the afternoon and evening peak.

Due to the deteriorating conditions and in the interest of safety last departures outbound and inbound will leave at 20:00hrs on all services. Dublin Bus would encourage all customers to travel as early as possible. Both DART and Luas will honour Dublin Bus Tickets after 20:00hrs.

I was also hit by about 40 snowballs while passing Summerhill and Ballybough, one kid was only about a foot away from me and fired a snowball right into my ear..... they've no fear out there.
