I ordered a second hand microkorg off eBay, and I ended up getting charged €60+ customs.
This is just a crazy level of charge. I don't normally complain about the existence of taxation, but it's just such a dodgy way of getting so much money. Customs have gotten so strict lately too, I had a guitar picked up too.
It doesn't make sense for me that a second hand item can get that much charge. For all they know - it could have been a junker, and not worth anything much at all. They held it for a fucking week too.
It would have been cheaper for me to order one new off Thomann.
I'm really pissed as hell. I read somewhere, can't find it now, that you didn't get charged for second hand items so I thought it'd be okay.
