got clamped and towed last week, from a free spot. €370. still, happy they missed the lack of tax disc and insurance, even as i drove out of the pound...

its seems a bit much, even if they were charging you for towing, tax, insurance and the parking thing.

Not really. Nothing that was grammar or punctuation heavy. Photocopies of other people's (or is it peoples') notes mainly. Alot of fullstops. The occasional comma.

original fine, doubled + towing + daily charge. only found out by accident as a mate saw it on the flatbed... got away w/o tax/insurance fine.

it was a free spot when i parked there a year ago anyway.

operating under licence though. i don't see how someone can lay claim to a spot on a public road unless operating under city council licence.

they're not operating under license? jaysus. What'd be the difference between them clamping someone or me buying a clamp, clamping someone, and asking for $$ to take it off? Same thing really. That surely doesn't happen, does it?
