Jeff there has never been much of a hunter. A pacifist really. Last week a Wren flew into the house while he was asleep. Banged off one window, flew back and banged off another. Old lad here was asleep and didn't notice anything. While I ran to close doors he woke up and pounced. Bird in mouth. He got unceremoniously reefed out of it and chucked into separate room. Wren looked bollocksed and collapsed under a sofa. We reckoned moving the sofa we would see guts all over the place. We didn't, but bird was in a heap splayed... Assumed it had a heart attack. Wife picked it up and we were very sad. Eventually it started blinking, flew to the door frame and then flew off to the neighbors roof. Great stuff.

We've been in Westport since. So today he got to go outside and lie in a heap in the heat. A very familiar looking Wren was giving him absolute dogs abuse from the safety of the clothes line while he was completely fucked lying in the shade trying not to die.
