Wind Chill - decent horror/thriller about 2 kids who get stranded in a brokedown car on a haunted stretch of road.

It's one of those films in the video store that I keep walking by and never picking up. Must check it out. Last video I ignored for ages like that was Hotel Rwanda.

Zodiac - Fantastic film. Brilliantly paced. Blood Diamond - Decent.

Alpha Dog - yawn!

Yeah - really dull film. 'The Big Blue' for the noughties.

Miss Potter - Shockingly, this is a really good film.

Turistas - after all the reviews I was expecting this to be terrible but it's a pretty decent thriller with a bit of gore thrown in. Don't watch it expecting a horror though. Only problem with this type of film is that there is never enough character development to make you really care about...

Dark Ride Penny Dreadful Two decent low budget horror flicks. Penny dreadful is great - kinda reminded me of Cujo. Dark Ride is a decent enough slasher flick with some funny moments. They're both part of the After Dark Horror Fest box set.

Idiocracy Office Space Wasn't blown away by either. some very funny moments though.

Sublime - First half was good, then it becomes a really bad Jacobs Ladder. Really stupid overt symbolism about US society. Yawn.

Over the weekend: The Host - fantastic monster movie. Headspace - dear god - worst film I've seen in some time. Rocky Balboa - great fun. First 20 mins were unbelievably cheesy, so was the rest but great cheese.

Down In The Valley - good but not great. Ed Norton is really good in it but he's kinda playing the role he always plays.

Casino Royale - decent. First Bond film I've enjoyed in years.

I don't think I laughed once.

Stranger Than Fiction - Really loved this movie. Great casting and cool idea.
