Its gonna be interesting...the winning eleven/pes series is huuuuge in Japan and the 360 is well and truly dead there. For Konami to put out a superior version for 360 would cause riots in the streets.

Sure PES is just as big in Europe these days. Witness the hoardings whenever a match is on tv and the last few versions of PES were topping the charts for fucking ages.

There were rumours a while back that PES on the PS3 had the tagline: "Ultimate Edition". I'm not talking about that bullshit story, where there was talk of it having more content due to it being on blue-ray yadda yadda yadda. Apparently GAME employees were given a list of release dates and the PS3 PES had a slightly different title.

I will be very interested to see if it's a better game on the PS3. The demo seems broken to me anyway. I know there is the old "not the finished product" disclaimer - but why put something out that makes your game look a bit shit? I'd trust most other companies to fix the probs, but not Konami and their "Oops, where's the save replay option gone??" bullshit.

Just got Halo 3 from gameseek in the uk. 2 days early.

Very cool indeed.

Went online and got flamed by a bunch of 12 yr old dickheads from the states.

Couldn't stand it for too long.

I hope this is not going to be the norm.

I think I'll stick to the single player for the moment.

Looks much much better than the screenshots that are around.

Some really cool motion blur fx and the frame rate is solid so far.

It wasn't so much the abuse as the whiny noise they try to pass off as a speaking voice.
Said whiny noise is further enhaced by the crappy mic on the 360 headset.

They even say "pwned" even though it's a vowel short of a pronouncable word.
