In fairness to Janer I had to get a VGA cable for the DVD playback on my 360 to work properly through my TV.

I did however work that out for myself, by putting a DVD into it.

lol well I was in the pub when outta the blue I wondered and er not being at home and a lazy bastard I phoned a m8.....
Today I threw in a DVD and yes it plays but.........obviously I need a remote to get off the fucking chapters screen!!!!

It never occurred to you to put a DVD in and try it? Even thought the 360 came with a DVD remote?

1) No because I have sky movies and I also d/l and watch films via PC
2) No it didn't.

Well, looks like we finally have the chance to fight THE OTHERS (PC gamers). Shadowrun is an FPS coming out tomorrow which pits 360 owners against PC owners, as the game is playable across LIVE against those on Vista. Cue endless "the mouse gives an unfair advantage" arguments. Might pick it up as I'm on the look out for a new FPS and this one sounds decent.
