the ryanair rant thread (1 Viewer)

ryanair is great. they fly very cheaply on a very convenient route for me.
that's handy for you, but anywhere i've ever been, aer lingus have been only marginally dearer. plus, the difference in the price would usually be more than offset by the extra cost of transport once landed.

plus, aer lingus don't seem to have the same number of fuckups as ryanair with regards to safety.

I was going to say the same, in my recent experience, unless you're flying a few days before christmas (as i am next week), they're only marginally cheaper than aer lingus, and once you add on the charge of bringing a bag, they can be more expensive.

Im going to bournemouth on my hols later in the week, flying ryanair. Ive checked in online and have printed out my boarding pass as instructed. I havent flown ryanair since they started this checkin online and print your own boarding pass business - does this mean that when i get to the airport i can just go straight to security and rock up to the gate with my boarding pass and get on the plane or do i still need to do some queue shit in the departures area?

If you're not checking in any luggage then yes, you can go straight through security.

An airline passenger ate his €10,000 winning scratch card after he was told he could not claim the money immediately, it emerged today.
The unnamed man was flying with Ryanair from Krakow in Poland to East Midlands Airport in Britain when he won €10,000 with the scratch card.
Crew on board the flight confirmed he had won the prize but told the passenger he would have to collect the jackpot directly from the company that runs the competition as it was such a large sum.
Ryanair said the man then became frustrated and started to eat his winning ticket, ruling out any chance he had of claiming the prize money which will now be donated to charity.
Stephen McNamara, a spokesman for Ryanair, said: “Passengers have always been delighted to claim their large cash prizes after returning home.
“Unfortunately our latest winner felt that we should have his €10,000 prize kicking around on the aircraft.”
The airline asking people to vote online to decide which charity should recieve the money. Voting will take place until March 5th.

Are we going to see her suck a forest of oak tree johnsons or did she just show her tits to a photographer? I fail to see how it constitues news. Girl with tits gets tits out in spare time shock! it was on the front fucking page of the sun yesterday. my mind boggled while I ate my breakfast roll.

Sounds like she just got her top off, can't see the big deal considering what the ryanair calenders are like.

I like how they went with a pic that looks like she's scratching her minge, classy.

Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary poses with porn star

2010-02-27 15:20:00
Chief Executive Officer of Irish airline Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, was pictured posing with a porn star stewardess.

O'Leary, 48, posed with sexy Czech babe Edita Schindlerova, who stars in X-rated movies and appears in the budget carrier's 2010 cabin crew calendar.

"Michael O'Leary recently appeared with cabin crew to present UK disabled children's charity KIDS with 110,000 euros from the sale of our 2010 charity calendar," the Sun quoted a spokeswoman for Ryanair as saying about the picture.

"Ryanair's crew have now raised over 300,000 euros for charity in just three years," she added.

Schindlerova had posted the playful pictures on her Facebook site on February 24 with the caption: "Happy days. I love my job!!!"

O'Leary, who once jokingly offered "beds and b******s" to business class customers on Ryanair's transatlantic flights, was snapped with the 34B east European beauty in a see-through top. (ANI)

i'm nearly 100% that they toured australia, when it was cool to be in australia*. there's no mention of playing pub covers on a sunday night in my local though.

*stay posted on my thesis on the rise of irish moving to australia paralleled with the number of repeats of sons and daughters, home and away and neighbours per terrestrial channel per week.
