The 'bands *i* get but no-one else does' thread (1 Viewer)

Erm, Steve Mason?

It's not that no one else likes him, they either don't know him or don't bother to talk about him.

I even like that new record

I liked the Beta Band but haven't really checked out his solo stuff. The new album has great cover art that's for sure:

I've been obsessed with this lot for a few years.

Saw Doctors for me. I think someone from Stoat said they were good once. Big Monster Love may have expressed his admiration for them too (or I could be making that up). They have released some awful shite recently but their old stuff and gigs are great.

What I find hard to forgive is the rerecording of letter from america that they made with the full band, they replaced the anger and sadness with we're-rolling-in-it-now-boys glee

I'm looking at the sing it on TOTP now, maybe im being a bit harsh. Its still a travesty though

Bran Van 3000. I love these guys. They have 4 fantastic albums, but nobody's heard of anything beyond 'Drinking In LA'.
