For some strange reason an invitation didn't arrive at our desk but, incredibly, the contrary Hand won't be attending.

In less than a year, she had become a one-woman soap opera; but there were signs that underneath the froth was a smart, compassionate person who had begun the search for a more meaningful role to play.

it seems logical but it's pretty impossible to source legal coke without funding a criminal somewhere - unless they can suddenly grow cocoa in Meath.

Also if I were Pfizer and Novartis and someone was legally allowed to seel a drug without FDA approval - I'd be well pissed and insist I shouldn'e me tenting my drugs if they are not testing theirs.

Also if I was Gordon Brown and the country next door started legalising drugs (remember they are not legal in Holland - and Holland are looked at askance by the international community for their position) I'd be fucking livid.

It seems logical - but in the real world I don't think it's possible.

It is kinda logical but I was also playing devil's advocate because I'm not naive enough to think that it could ever happen, due to the large amount of people along the chain for whom it would interrupt their present system, not to mention the moral outrage that would occur as the masses and masses of people who don't do coke on a regular basis are reviled by the country they live in.

Its a problem that has no solution except personal responsibility and good parenting.
