Springsteen v Kathy French Hot Press (1 Viewer)

I didn't think I could think Brendan O'Conner could be a bigger arsehole than I already did but that tribute prooved me wrong.

I mean, just fucking look at him ...

Did anyone see Xpose on TV3 the day after she died?? I didn't see it but my girlfriend was telling me about it apparently they interviewed her family and friends then did a video montage of people who died young Jim Morrisson, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and KATIE FUCKING FRENCH :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Luckily, the amount of heroin I use is harmless, I inject about once a month on a purely recreational basis. Fine. But what about other people less stable, less educated, less middle-class than me? Builders or blacks for example. If you're one of those, my advice is leave well alone. Good luck.

Surely, if Ireland is bathed in cocaine like every paper says, we should legalize it, for the safety of people who like to use it and so as not to fund terrorism, as well as to raise much-needed funds for our penny-pinching belt-tighteners making the budget.

Seems only logical to me?

(Or am I just playing devil's advocate?)

I think anyone who admits to taking cocaine or sees somebody with cocaine and doesn't attempt to make a citizens arrest should be hung in streets as an instant deterrent

Seems to me that the Irish govt should step in, and provide labs to test and QC the cocaine, and then set up some sort of distribution network along with the advice outlined above.

This should help save our national treasures.

What if, there was a train going out of control and the only way I could stop it from crashing into a bus was to throw a small baby in front of it? Would that be morally acceptable?

But, what if the child was a cocaine dealer? Would it be ok then?

OR, what if the child was a cocaine addict?

These are the kind of issues we need to reconcile with ourselves people.

some wanker economist on Questions & Answers suggested we use censorship to remove glamourised images of drug use - in film and television. how fucking ridiculous can you get!?

if only irish society could be placed under the control of some ancient, pastoral institution with a claim to universal truth that could somehow observe, judge, and thereby shape our moral attitudes in this decadent age...

I was stopped by the Gards on the way home from football tonight - to offer me coke! Absolute madness, it's like the... the... wild west.

That's fair enough. We've done it with guns already:

It is. In the same way if you bought animal or paedo porn, you're contributing to the animal paedo porn industry. I wish these sick pervert coke heads would just all fuck off and die.

They're trying their best at the moment.

AND GOOD LUCK TO THEM, say the decent people of Ireland.

The rapid rise of cocaine use in the past couple of years has been caused by the smoking ban. People can't smoke in the pub now, so they do coke in the jax instead. Then if they really, really need to go outside for a smoke, they don't feel the cold.

Also, from what I saw on Prime Time, outside the pub is where all the drug dealers are. Ergo, the more people outside the pub, the more customers the drug dealers have.

This is all going to be in the Indo tomorrow, you mark my words.
