that was so much fun! the cackling during the Great Batter Experiment was my favourite bit, and i am still amazed how good the double-battered (tm HMD) creme eggs were.

& after emptying the oil from the pan today, think i can safely say i won't be going near anything fried for a while.

p.s. if it weren't for the falafel clinic (press #3 for "it's disintegrating into black powder!"), i think m. le cookie would still be standing over the cooker growling and swearing.
