Normal People (2 Viewers)

went home for lunch every single day of my secondary schooling. We had a hall that lads from Tallaght had their lunch in, cos they were too far from home to make it there and back in 40 mins. There was a kitchen where they made grub. The menu every day was burger and chips. Nothing else, just burger and chips. No wonder my generation's arteries are fucked.
We got an hour and twenty minutes every day
12:40 til 2pm
Enough to go around to my mates gaff and have tea and watch telly, with sandwiches I brought from home
We could stay til Neighbours was over - 1:55pm
Then a serious legger

Any kind of bought food - from chips to sandwiches or anything else - was serious money that I never had growing up
I'd have eaten burger and chips every day if someone had let me

I lived in Coolock at the time, so there was even time to bike from Fairview to Coolock, have lunch, and fuck back down again on the bike

I loved those bike rides. Gunning it against time, always late. Fucking flying.

I always think of Ireland as rainy, but I don't remember rain on any of those rides.

Duffy Gold

at one point duffy asked a caller, what is the male version of a slut called. the answer did not disappoint
