Babel isn't setting the world on fire but I'm happy enough with him. I was just reading earlier that Ronaldo only scored four in his first season at manu and five in his second, I also recall he wasted a lot of possession so it's a bit early to say Babel is a flop as a lot of people have been. I don't think he'll ever reach Ronaldo's heights but I expect him to improve season on season over the next few years.

if he works on the left peg, there's quality to had there. big, strong, wicked fast and a great right foot, but his left leg might as well be heather mills's, kna? wasted some good positions on sunday.

masch was great. owed us that one.

gave arsenal a soft soft goal and could have tacked on a second when kuyt grabbed the equaliser if we were up for going for it.

defended impressively. made it look easy. i would have taken 2-1, the away goal is king in this game, and arsenal are leaky right this mo. arsenal have to score now, and if they had trouble breaking liverpool down at the emirates, good luck at anfield.

Good result but you'd have to fancy arse to get at least one at anfield. That said if we went at them there's goals there for us too. Kuyt was brilliant tonite, hard to believe only ronaldo has scored more than him in CL this year! Torres looked a bit tired, I think we should play Crouch and Voronin at the wkend.

I think a draw would be a very good result on sat. as it would leave us three points ahead of everton, assuming they beat derby, plus we have a much better goal difference. They also have arse and chelski to play yet.

i was so impressed with Skrtel yesterday, he's fast becoming a new hero at Anfield.

He sounds like a Pokemon.

I'd rather heather mill's leg than voronin, but that's certainly a possibility for benitez all right. We're not that far ahead of everton mind you..

You could do with her in defence more then attack, she can take off her leg and swat away any crosses.

everton are gonna drop points. if they play twice as good as they did on sunday, they'll still be shit. we can afford to drop points at arsenal. i'd rather we didn't and all.. it'll be intriguing cos it'll be totally different to last night.

"Kuyt's second touch is always a tackle", according to some wag on another forum.

Yeah that's well put. He did indeed put it a huge effort last night, but I think he's really deluded about his own ability to score goals. I like the fact that he doesn't let his head drop, like Babel and even Gerrard did at one point, but despite his graft and occasional quality strike he is just not a natural finisher.

As for Porno, he could have stolen it at the end when he was played in. IF he had a first touch. IF he wasn't a fat crock of shit. Fuck sake.

benitez was completely taking the piss out of arsenal by the end. voronin. ha!

He did a good job tracking Hleb last night, much like Park did for united the other night. And like Park he's a workhorse, who'll do a job in that respect, but is limited in the final third.

I reckon Almunia was in the wrong place for the goal last night too.
