He was formally interviewed and accepted his caution

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has been arrested and cautioned by police for common assault.
The former England international, 30, was questioned on Wednesday about a roadside argument with a man near his Crosby home on Tuesday.
Carragher had been on his way to training at the club's Melwood ground at the time.
The assault was reported to Merseyside Police by a witness to the incident involving the Bootle-born player.
Later that day the alleged victim reported Liverpool's vice-captain to officers who arranged an appointment to interview Carragher.
Common assault can include anything from spitting to shoving.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 30-year-old man from the Blundellsands area received a police caution for common assault in relation to an incident on Liverpool Road, Crosby, on Tuesday February 26."
A spokesman for Liverpool FC declined to comment.

Jeez, it's gonna be a right old dog fight for 4th place now, the derby match is gonna be lethal. We looked a bit better yesterday, still shaky at the set pieces but more cohesive going forward. I'd like to see Babel and Aurelio develop their partership down the left more. Babel was given a fair bit of room, but it was an encouraging performance from him. And hey! - we won without Torres or Gerrard* scoring!

* Jaaskelainen... contender for howler of the season?

just saw the highlights there, Babel looked sexy as fuck. has a right foot and all. Aurelio's goal was sweet too. Toon army for the drop.

he has a right foot. but no left. but he was good. he's playing a more natural position now. he should have bagged a hatrick... that sitter he missed in the last minute. oyvey.

newcastle... how fucking bad are they? really. really, really bad.

Newcastle issued a statement assuring the world that King Kev's job is safe. Why bother issuing a statement 6 weeks after they gave him the fucking job??!! Newcastle is officially the maddest club in the world.

they were supposed to have played well though weren't they?

Perhaps the pool would snap Owen up again at a knock-down price if they go down?
dunno, serial crock, 28 years old? left liverpool, liverpool win champions league. went to real. real won nothing. left real, real won league for the first time in 4 years. joined newcastle. newcastle now real relegation contenders. all mick is concerned about is his england legacy. knob.

it's not as if it's even kev's fault... wasn't even allardyces. really, there's years of malaise in there. shouldn't have sacked uncle bobby. tut tut.

allardyce should not have been fired

what is really surprising is the fact that they bought noone in january! they even let some defenders go. you would have to think that keegan was told he could buy someone !!

Keegan didn't know who to buy cos he admitted to watching very little football since he left City.

Newcastle are a stupid club and I hope they go down.

is the number two shirt cursed or something? why is skrtl wearing 37?

Arbeloa was the first Liverpool no.2 to score since Mike Marsh or something ridiculous like that against Reading last year.

He ditched it cos 17 is his number from Real B (or whatever they are called), though I fail to see him carving out a Michael Jordan-like niche for that particular jersey. However I do really like his over-zealous goal celebrations and the way he has clearly stylised his fall for when he has fouled.

Skrtel picking 37 was stupid tho. We have no number 1 either!
