Robert Keane is fit if that's any use to ye.
this is his chance. who better to score against then some shit?Robert Keane is fit if that's any use to ye.
ah well...that luck we were riding ran out in the end.
fuck it, 18 points. nothing less.
assuming that the spurs game was a blip, and that rafa actually had his best available team/formation out, when torres is fit, where's keano going?
drop masch for keane?
cripes.
this is my misgivings made real.

we need protection more than we need keanos "creativity" which, frankly, i've yet to really see. decent cross against everton, poor control which serendipitously lead to the goal against tottingham.... that's it.technically yes...but really youre dropping a not so creative player for a creative one.
surely you see the sense in that?
wasnt masch left out at home to wigan?
pancakes have to do with everything.and whats pancakes got to do with it?

masch was rested cos he had just come back from argentina. and we conceded twice against poxy wigan. maths do.
not much, but i don't want a productive member of the squad dropped to accommodate 20 mil worth of white elephant. masch is quality. gerrard was man of the match in that position against spurs. torres is torres. riera has changed that team, already, kuyt has dragged himself back, scoring goals, working his hole of, alonso is twice the player he was last season, getting stuck in, keeping it simple, allowing gerrard to reign in his hollywood side. unless robbie wants to learn the leftback position and make it his, the best 11 that could possibly go out there doesn't involve him. robbie's not worth 20 million. he's done little. he's not even scoring goals. so far i see no significant improvement on crouch/voronin. hopefully it'll come, it would be bloody handy to have a striker bang in form come march, but up to now...nothing. time for a spell on the bench.protection from what? especially at home? we should be attacking these teams not protecting.
agger and reina gifted wigan the first...as great as macherano is...he surely wouldnt have gotten a tackle in there against zaki considering he was in midfield?and for the 2nd goal agger (again) and dossena had ample opportunity to clear before zaki produced a 1 in 10 moment of brilliance. your mate (arbeloa the disgrace) at right back didnt cover himself in glory either with his attempt at a header clearance.
if poor control leads to a goal then let the poor control flow.
so c'mon hector tell us...what did robbie keane do to you as a young fella?
