it might take a while but if babel gets enough chances he can put them away. He looked very hungry when he came on against chelsea. If all else fails benitez can put on benayoun for alonso late on and push kuyt up for one of his last minute wonders.

Aye, I had the fear, but having just watched the highlights on dailymotion there, I thought we were well worth the win. We lacked a cutting edge but there were plenty of chances and the passing was great. Gerrard in particular looked superb. Bring on 'arry's new boys.
