good point. They are considerably looser and more atrractive than the floozies you get these days

It's a brilliant show

i didn't say it wasn't although I think you might like it for different reasons to other people

and now I'm not going to click into this thread again because people can't keep their fingers from typing spoilers. grrr.

so what do youz guys REALLY think of Jill Hives then?

my sis reads the tv guide, it says 'BBC 1, 8.00: EASTENDERS: dirty den beats fuck into whatsherface and somone gets deadnant', then she watches eastenders anyways.

it's remarkably popular for such an unrelentingly miserable show

The misery is one thing but it's remarkably popular for such an unrelentingly slow show. Talk about lingering. I was chastised while watching for being too 'chatty' but honestly you have to do some sort of running commentary to fill in the ponderous pauses.

I don't relish defending common decency, but there's a big difference between something that was broadcast yesterday (GMT) in a foreign country and something that's been on DVD for over a year.

If something's been and gone in the cinema, fuck you, you should have gone to see it.
If something's been broadcast on telly here, fuck you, I can talk about it.

If it's still in the cinema or hasn't been on the telly, let people experience it for themselves.

yeah but there's this thing called the internet now, which most of us have, which allows
most of us download and watch any number of tv shows and talk about them pointlessly
on the internet. see any number of threads about the wire, lost, golden girls, pornos, war
atrocities footage, cartoons, teletext, football focus, rock of love and so on.

i do take your point though and it really was an unfortunate coincidence that this thread
was started two days before they started showing it in america

i feel like deleting my fingers
