domenech has to go. it's written. it's pre ordained. not only did he pick the wrong squad, omitting players like cisse, trez, clichy, flamini, bodmer, mexes for crocks like gomis, vieria et al, not only did he go too far with makelele, when he should have moved on with flamini or toulalan or diarra after wc2006, and not only did he blemish the otherwise exceptional career of one of the greats, lilian thuram, with a tournamenttroo far, but he actually had enough talent in the squad he brought, even tho it took him too long to shift sagnol and abidal off the flanks, and drop malouda. against italy benzema should have played, he shouldn't have taken off nasri last night when they had to chase the game and he already had two defensive midfielders on and he shouldn't have picked govou, ever, he was mince, he tries, and looks disappointed when he fucks up, so pretty much all the time, but he's gash. domenech fell out with ludovic guily, for govou? idiot. i hope he falls on his sword, the cunt.

Vieira doesn't look like he ever would have been fit.
It was a season too far for Thuram in La Liga this year, never mind the Euros.
Makelele was alright for Chelsea this year, but only when used very sparingly. Partnering him with Toulalan was all wrong (did Toulalan do anything?). Someone with a bunch of energy and snap (like Fffffflamini maybe?) and they might have gotten away with it.

domenech doesn't even have the excuse of saying "i was planning for the future with all these youngsters...." not only did he fuck up this tournament, but he failed to prepare for the next one (now whatever manager will be in charges problem) by ditching vieira, thuram, makelele and giving experience to mexes, diarra, et fucking cetera. they were unlucky with ribery and all, but the french have talent in their league..
