Worth mentioning too that figures for solar generation in Ireland don't include domestic solar. If you look at the eirgrid dashboard it only includes 'industrial' generation and large solar operators need to send real time data to that which is not required for domestic.
I'm sure they can generate a reasonable idea of domestic generation in non-real time but if a house is not pulling any load off the grid they won't know if that house is empty with no load, or generating 3kW and using it, e.g. to boil a kettle or charge a battery.

They have most of the stats from grant information but I fear they'll not make use of it
