Update on the ticket-getting/nomination stuff: I went in with the wan's passport as well as mine and I guess 'cos it was a passport ID, they assumed it was legit and gave me the tickets.

Please note, the first collection in your name with a booking reference and appropriate ID will be considered valid. No further tickets will be issued to that subscriber.

Seems like they are saying that once someone has ID in a person's name, they'll give them the tickets for that person - doesn't say that person has to be there. Weird.

when I got there folks were picking up tickets for other people, they would have to ring the person who's name was down for the tickets, the person would confirm they were happy to have their tickets collected and the staff would hand them over. seems completely fair enough.

the whole system was explained pretty clearly on the e-mails, about nominating someone to collect tickets for you, where you had to collect them, what you had to bring. It's all there in black and white.
