I'd never be listening to stuff at home with earbuds in fairness. Speakers or proper headphones when you have the luxury of them there. Earbuds are mainly for work with the laptop or the iPod.

On a related note, I lost one of the rubber yokes for my earbuds and ordered replacements from Amazon so I now have a couple of dozen of medium white ones if anyone needs one.
