Yeah its region free for HD DVD but it takes its dvd region coding from the 360 so it'll play whatever region thats connected to it.

As was said b4 the ps3 graphics appear slightly brighter/cartooney almost like while the 360 goes for the darker moodier look.

Well, that article is just comparing ports where the Xbox 360 was probably the lead SKU, so it's bound to hold up well in that kind of test. I'd be interested in seeing a similar comparison involving a game where the PS3 was the lead SKU.

It's amazing in HD, we downloaded a load of them off isohunt - 2-3 gigs per 1 hour episode. Amazing stuff.

Is that where you buy all your HD-DVD's from Lefty?

I need to pop into town shortly and buy a jap>uk plug convertor and a HD-DVD then I'm ready to test it out.

The VGA cable works a treat though, full screen DVD watching for the first time ever on our TV! Also it really ramps up the resolution, on the XBOX screens the blades used to go to the edge of the screen on composite, now there is grey space at the ends and everything seems a bit smaller but brighter and sharper.

Have any good games come out since I was away? I want a new game. I might go for that FIFA game if not, people are still raving about the addictiveness of the card system.
