There's a musical instrument museum in Brussels (or at least there was, it's been a while), where you get headphones and if you stand near a particular exhibit, you'll hear that instrument being played. That was my introduction to the hurdy gurdy. It was trippy. In a very good way.

Well in one instance i can enjoy the sound while painstakingly handwashing my linens
In the other instance i can enjoy the sound while the magic of robotics does it for me
