Open Range, Thirteen Days, A Perfect World, JFK, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Dances with Wolves, Bull Durham, No Way Out and The Untouchables are all good Costner flicks.

This piece of shit has just come to mind as the worst film ever

This has been widely quoted as one of the most dire movies of recent times in the US this summer

Pretty pathetic to include a film ya haven't even seen in the Worst Movies *YOU'VE* Ever Seen thread.
Plus Terry Crews is in it, so that must be at least ONE redeeming factor.

Agreed, Closer made me very very angry.
Can't believe that piece of tripe was written by Forbes McAllister/Lawrence Knowles/Lieutenant Colonel Kojak Slaphead the Third etc!

No need to be so pedantic..do you want me to reference the places where it was slated?

Actually the worst film I've ever seen was one chosen by a friend that I used to go to the cinema with - she loved it. I never went to the cinema with her again. The film was so bad that I have successfully blotted all memory of it, just the agony and lesson (namely never go to the cinema with that friend) remain.

I've been trying, unsuccessfully to remember the film, or even some of the plot (if it had one) but all I can remember was hours of excruciating boredom and feeling trapped.

Oh no you did-n't?
