Well, if you had been at the sociable cooking last night you could have tried a wine that, at least in my opinion, might have changed that.

But, in principle I do agree with you. Some of the Belgian Trappist beers are delicious. I haven't really explored beers enough though.

Shit, I didn't realise that was last night. How was it? I would have liked to have gone, only problem is my work have blocked thumped so I'm not around here as often.

These Laurent Miquel wines are great, both the syrah and viognier (enjoying this now). About 8 euros, from Dunnes...best value wines I've found ever
