Totally freaked out. Not only does it sound as if someone is trying to get in my front door... I just saw THE GLASS OF MY BALCONY WINDOWS MOVE. That should not happen. It's a huge glass plate, if it blew in or out someone could get seriously hurt. :/

Okay, someone science minded. If I open one of the windows slightly would it stop the pressure or make it worse. There are three panes of glasss, 2 seem fine and one of the two can open. The third keeps moving back and forth. This can't end well.

in the house i'm in now there was single glazing years ago. i remember as kids during a 120mph megastorm we all sat watching out faces distort in the glass reflection. If you are really worried, a big gaffa tape X on the window would be a good placebo.

It's getting a wee bit boisterous here now. My windows are so shit that in spite of the fact that their closed tight my blinds are fluttering away. No wonder I was freezing all winter.
