I've had a couple of these retro consoles given to me. Gets played once in a fit of nostalgic excitement, generates a wave of massive disappointment, then gets hoofed in a cupboard

I get my nostalgia kick from my kids’ Switch. You can play loads of old games from different systems (including Sega!) on it. You can buy system appropriate peripherals for it (NES and SNES controllers for example) but the Switch controls work perfectly fine.

The VCS one has very specific associations for me. I wanted one so much when I was a kid, but we couldn’t afford it.
