Sad to see him go ... even if he did seem like a sap! Besides the Wilco stuff the Mermaid Ave albums they did with Billy Bragg were great. The arrangements were brilliant, think he had a lot to do with em.

I think I must have taken something different from that film then a lot of people did. It seemed to me, particularly in the mixing scene that he was doing his best to figure out what Tweedy wanted while Jeff was just being a dick to him.

Much better than the last one. Not as good as the previous 2. Might tussle with Summerteeth as my #3 of theirs but at the same time there's nothing to match Via Chicago or A Shot In The Arm.

That's still high praise. I'm very excited about this. Can't wait for the gig in August.
